Games London reveals 2020 Ensemble showcase members

Annual celebration of BAME games talent in the UK will be followed by an exhibition this summer

Games London, the organisers of the London Games Festival, have revealed this year's selection for its Ensemble exhibit.

Ensemble is a celebration of black, Asian and minority ethnic talent working within the UK games industry, highlighting eight individuals for their contributions to video games.

It is curated by Site Gallery artistic director Sharna Jackson. This is the third year the exhibition has run.

The 2020 Ensemble champions include Assassin's Creed actor Abubakar Salim, Six To Start CEO Adrian Hon, art director Catherine Unger, writer and editor Corey Brotherson, video games presenter Elle Osili-Wood, UX designer Nida Ahmad, Electric Noir Studios' interactive writer Nihal Tharoor, and Xbox games category lead Rosemary Buahin.

You can find out more about each of the winners at the Games London website.

Ensemble was due to be revealed at this year's London Games Festival, but due to the ongoing spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the festival's physical events have been moved online.

There are plans to exhibit portraits of the Ensemble winners at various locations across the UK during the summer.
