Gamertag Radio Official Mafia II Community Launch Events
New York event gets change of venue.
Grab your fedoras and pin stripe suits for Gamertag Radio’s Official Mafia II Community Launch Events in Miami and New York in August. Gamertag Radio (GTR) is excited to partner once again with 2K Games for the official Mafia II Community Launch Events, sponsored by Sony Playstation 3, Playboy, Scion, Crazy Hood Productions and Game Juice.
Beginning on August 22, 2010 Gamertag Radio will be partying it up in Miami at Grand Central ( www.grandcentralmiami.com) along with DJ Sharpsound ( www.freshbasilcrew.com) and live performances by Garcia ( www.crazyhood.com) and ¡MAYDAY! ( www.maydayonline.com). For a chance to check out the game before August 24, 2010 (Official Launch Date), there will be Xbox 360’s and Sony Playstation 3’s on hand for gameplay as well as giveaways including a Sony Playstation 3 console and Mafia II t-shirts among others.
Special guest Miss Info from Hot97 (NYC) will be co-hosting the event along with GTR’s own Godfree and Peterocc. Doors open at 8pm. Pre-Order Mafia II and present a valid receipt at the door to skip the line!
The party continues on August 28th, as GTR brings the party to New York City to celebrate the launch with Miss Info and special guest Playboy’s Gamer Next Door, Jo Garcia ( http://www.playboy.com/gamernextdoor). Expect the same treatment up north as down south with giveaways and prizes as well open bar for all and the opportunity to skip to the front of the line with your receipt of a Mafia II pre-order.
Also, for those of you that can’t make it to Miami or NY, SFX-360 ( www.sfx-360.com) will also be hosting an official Mafia II Community Launch Event in Chicago on August 21st at the Chicago Comic-Con.
