GamerPoll.com

From the chap behind ChaseTheChuckwagon.com and hoping to influence the industry for the better.

Orange County, CA (PR) – July 22, 2009

http://www.GamerPoll.com was launched this week in hopes of garnering gamer opinion through a continuing smattering of quick and targeted polls relating to the gaming industry. Mike Kennedy, GamerPoll.com’s creator, explains, “I think the gaming industry is at the precipice of great change. Right now no one really knows where the gaming industry is going to be in five years. How will consumers acquire new games? How will these new games be played? Will consoles and tangible games be replaced with set-top boxes and down loadable or streaming content?” The questions go on-and-on and thus serve as fuel for weekly topical gaming polls. GamerPoll.com wants to give the gaming consumer a voice to bring about positive change.

Taking this a step further GamerPoll.com will be offering inexpensive, anonymous Poll Campaigns that can be purchased by video game publishers, developers or hardware manufacturers so they can create and run their own poll campaigns serving as real time market research for new, existing or future software or hardware releases. There is currently nothing like this online to get instant consumer feedback relating to upcoming software and hardware.

Soon after the site is complete an iPhone application will be developed to dish out daily polls to consumers, on the fly. While the site is under construction GamerPoll.com will co-exist with ChaseTheChuckwagon.com, an auction site dedicated to gaming. Expect it to break out of beta by the end of the year. In the meantime, why don’t you go and VOTE.
