Gamer-Party launch

New UK casual games studio founded by former EA, Atari and Vodafone chaps.

23rd August 2010, Surrey, UK – Former Atari, EA & Vodafone staff have formed a new UK based Casual Games Studio this month with a focus on producing a free to play casual gaming site, http://www.gamerparty.com.

Gamer-Party Limited has begun development on two unannounced titles and plans a Q4 2010 Beta release. It has enlisted the help of an ever growing community to influence development of the new titles, with some even directly involved in the production.

“We want to provide a really deep online experience for people and have enlisted the help of those who will be playing the games” said Richard Jeffery, Co-Founder of Gamer-Party Limited. “The Casual Games Industry really represents a lot of opportunities to us right now and we’re hopeful of rolling out a full beta release of our games and site by the end of this year”.

Gamer-Party Limited was formed in August 2010 by two Gaming Industry vets who between them have worked for Electronic Arts, Atari and Vodafone. The studio is set to release a number of online multiplayer casual gaming titles across various platforms.
