Gameloft signs up to Die Hard

Secures rights to Bruce Willis blockbuster

Gameloft has reached a multi-year agreement with 20th Century Fox to develop, publish and distribute "Live Free or Die Hard", the official mobile game of the fourth film in the Bruce Willis film series.

The game, which is exclusive to mobile under this agreement, is set to launch shortly before the film's US theatrical release on 27th June, and reflects events on-screen - where Willis, as sardonic police officer John McClane, comes up against a criminal plot to target the US computer infrastructure.

"The Die Hard series has been extremely successful and we are pleased to be working with 20th Century Fox to extend the brand experience to mobile phones," said Gonzague de Vallois, vice president at Gameloft.

"The fans of the Die Hard films are literally- 'die-hard,' and we are eager to deliver a game that brings the action, intrigue and humour of the movie, to gamers and fans alike."
