Gameloft moves into India

Signs distribution deal with Airtel

Gameloft has inked a distribution deal with India's largest mobile operator Airtel.

The deal will see six of Gamelofts's titles, including Desperate Housewives, Might and Magic and Lost, become available to the operator's 30 million subscribers.

"We are very happy to enter into this agreement, which represents a major step forward for us," commented Ravi Kumar, business development manager for Gameloft India.

"Airtel is a dynamic partner who is striving to offer its clients the simplest and most economic service possible, and Gameloft contributes a game quality that will thrill consumers," he added.
