Nintendo of America has announced plans to add three top-flight GameCube titles to the budget priced Player's Choice range in the USA, while several of the existing titles will be dropping again in price.

By the end of this month, Cube owners in North America will be able to pick up Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing for the princely sum of $29.99 - while Star Fox Adventures, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion will be dropping a further $10, to $19.99.

Meanwhile here in Europe, the £19.99 Player's Choice range comprises FIFA 2003, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, James Bond 007: Nightfire, Luigi's Mansion, Medal of Honor Frontline, Pikmin and Super Smash Brothers Melee.

No announcements have been made as yet regarding an expansion of that range - although it's quite possible that Nintendo of Europe may add some new titles to Player's Choice range in order to help drive Cube sales in the run up to Christmas.
