Game Industry Pros Invited to Attend Women In Games International's First Community Mixer at Annual Game Developers Conference

First 100 Guests to Receive Door Prize Courtesy of Walt Disney Internet Group

Monday, February 11, 2008-San Francisco, CA- Women in Games International (WIGI), a non-profit organization in the interactive entertainment industry, will be hosting a community mixer and networking event during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The WIGI mixers are designed to encourage game professionals to meet each other and other industry insiders while spending a relaxing evening socializing with peers.

Scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 5 pm to 9 pm, the WIGI Community Mixer will be held at the House of Shields Saloon

39 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco. This unique industry networking event is proudly sponsored by Big Fish Games, Big Huge Games, Comcast and the Walt Disney Internet Group. Admission is free. Appetizers and beverages will be offered for registered guests. Each guest will receive two drink tickets and gourmet catered buffet appetizers.

Due to the generosity of the Walt Disney Internet Group, the first 100 guests will receive a third drink ticket as a door prize. Attendees can participate in a drawing for giveaways from top companies, including some of the event sponsors. Attendees are encouraged to come early and stay late for prizes.
