G3 charity shooting tournament announced

G3, a charity shooting tournament, has been scheduled for May 4, at Gosterwood Manor, Surrey.

G3, a charity shooting tournament, has been scheduled for May 4, at Gosterwood Manor, Surrey.

The event is being organised by Kuju's business development manager Joel Benton, with all proceeds raised going to the Entertainment Software Charity.

As well as raising money for a good cause, Benton sees it as a good opportunity for the UK games industry to meet in informal surroundings

"G3 is an attempt to get senior people from across the industry to do something social and fun, all for a good cause," commented Benton.

"In my experience, relationships are made and business happens over a beer, food or a shared experience more than it does in a formal meeting room."

Teams of five people will be charged GBP 1250 to enter, details of which can be found at gamesgunsgiving.com.
