Frogster results

MMOG publisher more than doubles its revenues in first half of 2010.

Berlin, 28.09.2010: Frogster Interactive Pictures AG has released its interim report for the first half of 2010. The international publisher of massively multiplayer online games based in Berlin with subsidiaries in Berlin, San Francisco and Seoul was able to more than double the revenue in the first half of 2010 with 11.4m Euro compared to the same period of last year (first half 2009: 5.1m Euro). The result net of taxes and minority shareholder interests increased to 1.4m Euro (first half 2009: 1.1m Euro). The result per share net of taxes and minority shareholder interests came to 0.48 Euro after 0.44 Euro in the first half of 2009. The number of shares has increased by 375,000 to now 2,900,000 shares compared to the publication date of the interim report 2009.

The non-proportional improvement of the result compared to the revenue growth mostly follows from positive extraordinary effects in the previous year’s first half year at the amount of 0.24 Euro and negative extraordinary effects in the first half year 2010 of -0.07 Euro per share net of taxes and minority shareholder interests. The result adjusted by extraordinary effects amounted to 0.55 Euro (first half 2009: 0.20 Euro) per share net of taxes and minority shareholder interests. The overall result equals a net operating margin of 12.3 percent.

With 7.5m Euro, the cash position has nearly tripled compared to the end of the last business year (end of 2009: 2.6m Euro). The board of management considers this as sufficient. The equity ratio amounts to 71 percent. Frogster has no bank liabilities.

The German interim report 2010 is available for download at www.frogster.de.

Update on current revenues

The management expects a noticeable revenue growth in September compared to August 2010, the third quarter however should close beneath expectations due to the previous months. Should revenues not rise significantly again from October onwards in contrast to the unchanged expectation of the management, this would naturally have to be considered for the adjustment of the guidance for the result 2010 which was already announced for other reasons. The adjustment shall take place end of October.
