Fox hires former Ubisoft exec to expand games portfolio

Twentieth Century Fox has hired former Ubisoft exec Adam Kline to oversee the company's games portfolio and develop new revenue streams in e-commerce.

Twentieth Century Fox has hired former Ubisoft exec Adam Kline to oversee the company's games portfolio and develop new revenue streams in e-commerce.

As well as holding a key business development position at Ubisoft, Kline has acted as a TV and film producer and ran his own company ADK Media Group, consulting for EA Mobile and Lions Gate Entertainment amongst others.

"As our presence continues to grow across all platforms of new media, it is important to have someone on the ground with the experience and know-how to lead," commented Elie Dekel, executive VP of licensing and merchandising for Twentieth Century Fox.

"Adam Kline has an outstanding reputation as a consultant for a roster of leading videogame and new media clients and has the skills, creativity and drive necessary to head up this potion of our business."

The Fox portfolio consists of some of the biggest brands in popular entertainment including The Simpsons, Aliens, 24 and Family Guy.
