Forza Horizon 4 reaches 10m players

Best-selling game in Playground's racing series achieves milestone eight months after launch

Microsoft has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that Forza Horizon 4 has reached the milestone of ten million players.

Since the game is a part of Xbox Game Pass, this number accounts for total players in the game and not unit sales.

Forza Horizon 4 is the best-selling title in Playground Games' series so far, having reached two million players in its first week and seven million as of January 2019.

GamesIndustry.biz recently paid a visit to Playground Games, where creative director Ralph Fulton spoke on how crunch has no place in modern game development and the virtues of Xbox Game Pass.

Forza Horizon 4's LEGO Speed Champions expansion, announced at E3 2019 with a LEGO car onstage, launches today.
