Former Sony exec to lead Atari marketing team

Jeff Reese to lead online and retail marketing for publisher

Former Sony executive Jeff Reese has joined Atari Inc as vice president of marketing.

Reese was previously responsible for product marketing of Sony's first-party software, and helped PlayStation win its first EFFIE award for new software.

"Jeff brings extraordinary industry and marketing expertise to Atari at one of the company's most exciting times," said Jim Wilson, CEO of Atari Inc.

"I am pleased he is joining our leadership team and look forward to his success."

Reese has also worked at Intel, where he helped launch the Centrino Mobile Technology brand

"With its iconic brand and established games portfolio, Atari is uniquely poised for growth," added Reese.

"I look forward to joining the new leadership team to drive innovation, build further momentum and refresh the legacy behind this famed brand and company."
