Former Cake PR exec joins THQ

THQ has announced the appointment of Sian Dobson as European PR manager for the publisher's kids, family and licensed games.

Dobson previously spent two years at PR agency Cake, where she was oversaw the Nintendo UK PR team and worked on campaigns for Wii, Brain Training and Nintendogs. Before joining Cake Dobson worked on the SEGA account at Hill & Knowlton.

At THQ she will report into Sam Forrest, head of European PR, and drive the PR strategy for the company's titles across European territories.

"Sian brings a wealth of experience from two leading PR agencies which not only makes her an ideal candidate for the role but also puts her in a great position to help drive THQ's overall European strategy going forward," said Forrest.
