Footy MMOG's publisher raises a handy £4.3 million from investors.
CyberSports Ltd, the publisher of massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) Football Superstars has just raised an impressive £4.3 million from investors.
The funding will be used by CyberSports to move towards its goal of becoming the premier publisher of free-to-play online multi-player sports games.
Malcolm Clark, CEO of CyberSports, said,
“The funds were raised mainly from existing investors and this demonstrates their ongoing confidence in what we’re doing. They recognise that we have an original and unique product which is proving to have enormous global appeal.”

Football Superstars is gaining momentum and these additional funds will be used to accelerate this, taking it into new territories with the goal of making it a global phenomenon. More brands are being integrated and initiatives are planned to make use of social media and mobile platforms.
