FMOD Ex

Audio library now available to Torque developers via GarageGames.

GarageGames, the leading technology provider for independent game developers, has partnered with Firelight Technologies, a world-wide industry leader in game audio systems, to offer FMOD Ex to all Torque developers. FMOD Ex will be available for $99, providing a powerful audio library to independent developers using the Torque line of game engines, including the latest Torque 3D engine.

FMOD has been used on such titles as Call of Duty: World at War, Little Big Planet and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. FMOD features DSP Software Architecture, Advanced Compressed Sample and Streaming Support and the ability to create realistic soundscapes.
