FISHLABS recruits sales director from Electronic Arts

HAMBURG, 20th December, 2007 FISHLABS, the leader in the development of premium 3D mobile games, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andreas Stecher as Executive Vice President Sales. Mr Stecher, one of the most experienced sales directors in the mobile games industry and prior to this Sales Director GSA Region of EA Mobile, will be joining the Hamburg-based company on the 1.1.2008.

Andreas Stecher (36) brings seven years of experience in the field of mobile content to the position. As Sales Director of EA Mobile, he was responsible for games known all over the world such as Tetris, FIFA, and Need for Speed.

"In Andreas Stecher we have found a seasoned professional with excellent contacts and many years of experience in the mobile industry. In addition to opening up new sales channels, he will be responsible above all for developing and managing highly effective marketing campaigns with the biggest network operators in close collaboration with our sales partners (I-play, PlayerX, arvato and Superscape)," said Michael Schade, CEO and cofounder of FISHLABS.

"I'm looking forward to my new job at FISHLABS. Selling a strong, high-quality product is fun, and success is guaranteed. Just as in the PC and console gaming market, mobile games will become more sophisticated and of higher quality in the future. FISHLABS already produces games of that calibre today and I'm glad to help increase awareness of the highquality FISHLABS brand in the market. 3D mobile games that offer many hours of gaming fun will open up new markets and reach new target groups. Ultimately, the entire value chain will benefit from that", added Andreas Stecher, Executive Vice President Sales of FISHLABS.

FISHLABS 3D mobile games have received numerous awards and won high critical acclaim in gaming magazines. The game Blades & Magic was awarded "Best mobile game of 2007" at the recent German Developer Awards, laying the foundation for a successful 2008.
