First Star Origins

Third generation of 9-year-old MMORPG series available now.

December 16th, 2009 Dallas, Tx. - The third generation of "First Star Online" massively-multiplayer role-playing games has finally been released at http://www.firststarorigins.com. The series is now 9 years old and this latest version blows the roof (and floors) off the other versions. Why is it that RPG's are supposed to be so involving and deep, yet, the entire world is already built for you? In First Star Origins that is not the case. Not a single building has been placed in the world by an administrator. Every house, town, even fence must be built by players. The game begins with a huge world filled with lakes, trees, and mountains, but the civilization must be created by those that inhabit it.

Almost every single block of land in the game world can be bought inside the game. You then have dozens of building objects you can put on your land. How about a house where you can store your items? A shop where you can sell goods? A jukebox where people can listen to songs?

A farm where you can raise chickens, pigs, and other animals? A fence?

A gold mine that produces gold even when you're offline? All of these, and tons more are possible only in First Star Origins.

The game doesn't stop with building, though. You can still run around whacking monsters and casting spells. Form guilds, chop down trees for wood. A simplistic quest engine rewards you for every single thing you do in the game world. The game even features new innovations such as a bleed out system where you're always able to save yourself from vicious attackers even if the odds are impossible. Want to sail across the ocean? Buy a boating license for 5,000 gold. Need gold? Mine it, or you can prospect it out of the river with a gold pan. Tired of creating your own weapons and armor? Find yourself a paint canvas and paint pictures and share them with other players, or you can build a photo sharing table and show pictures to your friends right off your computer.

First Star Origins is a free to play game. You can play it as long as you like, anytime you like, and never pay a penny. The game uses microtransactions for some bonus features, but none of the features I just listed require you to pay a cent. There's only one game on the planet which has a fully seamless dynamic scrolling world that can change at the drop of a hat: and it's just a click away.
