Family Gamer Awards

£100 donations to be given to Junior Family Gamer Award winners' chosen charities.

Now in their forth year, the Family Gamer Awards (FGA's) are about to pick their Spring winners in each of their family age groups:

• Infants

• Juniors

• Students

• Workers

• Parents

• Seniors

This year there is the added incentive of GBP100 to each winner's chosen charity. We will be donating GBP100 to a charity chosen by the winners of each of the Junior Family Gamer Award - awarded to the game we think best serves the 5 to 10 year olds. With an award for each season/quarter, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to add up that this is GBP400 at stake for charity.

Nominations for the Spring/1st Quarter FGA's can be send to:

About the Family Gamer Awards

http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/familylist_multi_recomendedfamilygames.htm

Families are made up of all ages. So our Family Gamer Awards are organised by age groups too - Infants, Juniors, Students, Workers, Parents and Seniors. Whether you have XBox 360, PS3, Wii, DS lite and PSP, we have a game to suite you and your family.

Four times a year (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) we pick the best games in each of our family age groups - Infants, Juniors, Students, Workers, Parents and Seniors. Then at the end of each year we get our audience to vote for the Family Gamer Award - Game of the Year.

About Game People

http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/about.htm

Game People started in 2007 to provide space for niche video game writers. Since then we have accrued a rag-tag bunch of (we think) interesting hacks. We cover games for families, for teens, for fitness, for sport, for racing, for returning and even eclectic gamers.

Our writers now contribute to IGN, Game Pro, the Wired Blog, Gamasutra, The Escapist and have appear on BBC TV and Radio, not to mention a smattering of local newspapers.

For more information about this or other press releases, contact editor@gamepeople.co.uk. He is more than happy to provide interviews, discuss advertising, or in fact any other ideas you have for us.
