Fairytale Fights

Coming to Asian PSN as Playlogic battles on.

Amsterdam/New York – 17th of August 2010 – Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq OTC: PLGC.OB), an independent worldwide publisher of entertainment software, announced today that its bankrupt subsidiary Playlogic International N.V. will launch its flagship title Fairytale Fights in Asia. The game will be published in cooperation with Sony Computer Entertainment Asia (Sony Computer Entertainment Inc).

Already available as a traditional retail boxed product throughout Europe and North America, Fairytale Fights will be released in episodic format, with the initial game, ‘Fairytale Fights ® : Once Upon a Time’ set to launch on the 19th of August 2010 in Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and The Republic of Korea. Subsequent episodes will be released throughout the remainder of August and September. Additionally, the Fairytale Fights ® : Treasure Pack 1 DLC that had previously seen an independent release in Europe & North America will be split across the episodic downloads. A free demo of the game will be available at launch.

Although Playlogic International N.V. and Playlogic Game Factory B.V. have been declared bankrupt on August 3, 2010, the trustee Mr. M.R. van Zanten assumes that a restart of the business is likely to succeed since several parties have shown great interest already.

For any questions regarding the bankruptcy please contact the trustee. For general information about the company please contact Rogier Smit or Rick van Beem.

Fairytale Fights is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB, 16+ by PEGI, 18+ by USK, MA 15 by the OLFC and 18+ in Asia.
