The team behind is bringing its sell-out UK Investment Summit to PAX East.

Run by the same team as the UK version, with support from the PAX team, the Investment Summit @ PAX East is designed to connect independent game creators with investment firms and publishers.

Publishers and investors looking to meet indie creators includes Digital Extremes, Double Fine, Epic Games, Gearbox, Humble Bundle, Kongregate, Kowloon Nights, Krafton (formerly Bluehole), Merge Game, PlayStack, PlayStation, Velan Ventures, Versus Evil and Xbox.

The event is split into three segments. The morning will feature a series of talks and panels from leading publishers and investors on how to get your game noticed, signed and funded - Xbox's Chris Charla and Epic Games' Sergey Galyonkin and David Stelzer are among the speakers.

What follows is a networking lunch, where you have a chance to talk with the speakers and leading investors and publishers in the room.

And finally, in the afternoon we will hold a series of short 1-to-1 meetings between developers and investors/publishers. Once you've bought a ticket, the Investment Summit team will ask you to fill in a form to enter the meeting system. Publishers and investors will then decide whether to meet with you. A ticket does not guarantee meetings, although the team will facilitate introductions where possible.

Each ticket includes lunch, refreshments and access to PAX East for the duration of the show.

A limited number of free tickets are available for PAX East indie exhibitors. To apply for these, contact

"The Investment Summit was a great day - really useful sessions and practical advice on funding and investment. Congratulations."

    Alex Tutty, Sheridans

"The Investment Summit was great - we had 13 very successful meetings and a few unscheduled ones making this a highly valuable event. Just fantastic that it is coming to the US."

Jon Higgins, New World Interactive LLC

"We're regular attendees at the Investment Summit because we see it as a great way to discuss the latest ideas and opportunities with other organisations who, like us, are seeking to improve the flow of working capital to the games development sector. It's also a bonus to be able to meet companies attending the afternoon networking sessions and hear about their projects in the context of both their funding needs and business ambition"

    Paul Durrant, UK Games Fund

"The entire ethos of PlayStack is to discover and support the next generation of talented developers in our industry. The GamesIndustry Investment Summit has become a must-attend event for us in achieving that goal, and its expansion to the US is an exciting step in connecting us with even more developers working across mobile, PC and console."

    Harvey Elliott, PlayStack
