Eurogamer records 4.5 million unique users

Consumer games network Eurogamer.net has recorded over 4.5 million unique users in its ABC Electronic results, up from the 3.7 million users last year.

During the audited month, 4,533,609 users clocked up over 35 million page impressions, an increase in numbers during a growth year for the company.

"In a year where the whole world seems to be talking about downsizing it’s great to be able to illustrate consistent growth across the board," said Rupert Loman, managing director of Eurogamer. "We’re very pleased with the results and they reflect the end to another very positive year for the network."

Eurogamer.net, which publishes GamesIndustry.biz, is planning a new website launch later this year, a bigger Eurogamer Expo and further geographical expansion in 2010.
