Eurogamer Expo 2010

"Massive" industry party to be held on Friday, October 1st in support of GamesAid.

For Immediate Release

Brighton, England, July 28th 2010. Eurogamer, Europe’s leading independent games media specialist, today announced details of the biggest ever Eurogamer Expo Party, which celebrates the opening day of the UK’s largest public gaming event the Eurogamer Expo and also marks the start of the London Games Festival.

West London’s contemporary pool hall, bar and club, Miss Q’s, will be playing host to the Eurogamer Expo exclusive party where some of the finest DJ talent on the British Isles will be spinning from 7pm to 2am on Friday 1st of October 2010.

Tickets priced at £50 a head covering entry, food and drink, are already selling fast and all profits from the night go directly to the industry charity, GamesAid, supporting this year’s worthy projects and causes. To ensure your team don’t miss out and for group prices, ticket enquiries should be directed to David Lilley [david@eurogamer.net], but please note that numbers are strictly limited.

Rupert Loman, Managing Director at Eurogamer said: “With all profits going to GamesAid, at least your conscience will be clear the following day even if your head isn’t. So grab a pen, block out the 1st of October, and buy lots of tickets!”

Andy Payne, Chairman of GamesAid, added: “It’s a great idea for a fund raiser, and I’d like to thank all involved in the organisation of the event on behalf of GamesAid and those who will directly benefit from the money this brilliant event will raise.”
