Michael Ross to write, Adrian Askariah to produce movie of Avalanche title

Square Enix action title, Just Cause 2, could become a Hollywood movie with the news that L+E Pictures, run by Eric Eisner, has optioned the game's film rights.

According to a report in Variety, the script will be written by Michael Ross, while established Eidos partner Adrian Askariah will act as producer.

The game, released earlier this year, has so far sold around 2 million units, and will sit alongside the company's other film adaptations.

Askariah has already produced a film version of Hitman, with a sequel in production now, while Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx are set to star in Kane and Lynch.
