Encore Publishing Group launches Octopus Tree

Encore Publishing Group, home of a number of brands and retail sites including Hoyle Gaming, has just launched a new label for indie developers called Octopus Tree.

"The Octopus Tree is the perfect symbol for how we approach games," said director of marketing Tracy Magnuson.

"We want to help independent games to become mighty and strong, and also to be unique and unlike anything else. We are here to help independent developers craft their games into ones that stand apart from the rest like our namesake, the Octopus Tree."

Octopus Tree currently has three PC titles in the works, Goliath, Buildanauts and Robot Arena III.
