We are excited to welcome Emma Boyes (GameSpot) to our burgeoning team at Game People ( http://www.gamepeople.co.uk). She continues our unusual and creative coverage with her column that is a playful look at sex and relationships in video games.

Joining the star studded ranks of Rebecca Mayes' ( http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/rebeccamayes_blog.htm) sung reviews and Lottie Roses ( http://www.gamepeople.co.uk/lottierose.htm) haiku reviews, Emma Boyes takes on the mantle of our 'Intimate Gamer'. Join her each week as she unpicks the latest and greatest game releases to see whether they have any heart.

About Emma Boyes

Formerly the UK news editor for GameSpot, and currently freelancing for places like IGN, Green Pixels, What They Play, and Games Radar, Emma has been a journalist for more than 20 years. She has written articles for an eclectic variety of publications, including Independent Travel News, the News of the World, Starburst, Japanzine, Metropolis, and once edited a magazine called Crazynet. She spent four years in Japan, where she wrote a column about those crazy Japanese games, and worked in QA and localisation on titles like Yakuza, Romance of the Three Kingdoms X, Colosseum and Puyo Puyo Fever. She has even, surprisingly for a video game advocate, worked for the Daily Mail, but don't tell anyone.

About Game People

Game People started in 2007 to provide space for niche video game writers. Since then we have accrued a rag-tag bunch of interesting hacks. We cover games for families, for teens, for fitness, for sport, for racing, for returning and even eclectic gamers.

Our writers now contribute to the Game Pro network, the Wired Blog, Gamasutra and have appear on BBC TV and Radio, not to mention a smattering of local newspapers.
