Conservative shadow minister to discuss tax breaks at London event this month

Conservative shadow minister for the Arts, Ed Vaizey MP, has been confirmed as the latest speaker lined up for the Best of British one-day conference, taking place in London on October 28.

He joins a long list of key UK developers who will be taking to the stage, including Charles Cecil, Paul Wedgewood, Ian Baverstock, Simon Seefeldt and Mark Morris.

Vaizey will be talking on the ever-popular subject of tax breaks for the games industry, having previously commented that it was "Britain's great silent success story."

Tickets for the event cost GBP 100 if booked before this Friday, by using the promotional code "bob_discounted" on the official registration page.

GamesIndustry.biz will have more in the build-up to this event in the coming weeks, and GamesIndustry.biz Network members can add it to their event attendance list now.
