East Peoria company takes casual gaming to new level

For Immediate Release

East Peoria, Ill. - Underdogs of the world unite. Small Illinois company, Aisle 5 Games is turning casual gaming into mainstream success.

Aisle 5 Games has gained phenomenal success with its first game "G.H.O.S.T. Hunters: The Haunting of Majesty Manor." Players investigate the manor to discover a possible haunting or a cruel hoax. They search the house for clues and generate a list of suspects until culminating in a heart-pounding race against time.

The Illinois-based company is living the dream of independent developers by earning a boxed distribution deal. No longer limited to download from the Web, G.H.O.S.T. Hunters will soon be available at retail outlets nationwide.

"It's a dream come true," co-owner Mike Wright said. "When my wife and I left our jobs in Los Angeles to pursue game development, we had no idea what was in store for us. Only two years later, and we've self-published a number one hit game. Now we have a following of fans looking for the sequel."

Aisle 5 Games is not made up of nameless employees, but instead focuses on family - literally. As the only two employees of Aisle 5 Games, Mike and Heather Wright have poured their heart and souls into G.H.O.S.T. Hunters and it shows in its vivid graphics and trademark sound.

To further add to the allure of G.H.O.S.T. Hunters, they have embedded a secret puzzle into the game that can win one lucky player $2,500 for finding out the name of the original owner of Majesty Manor. The winner will also have the opportunity to appear in a future G.H.O.S.T. Hunters game. Details can be found at www.aisle5games.com.

"We wanted not only to find a way to give back to the game's many fans, but also bring new people into the casual gaming community," stated Mike Wright. "Our customers are generally new to the idea of video games. They enjoy casual games because they can play for 15 minutes at a time to help unwind."

Casual gaming is a burgeoning market that has been historically ignored by the mainstream gaming world, but Aisle 5 Games is helping to bring casual games into the homes and hard drives of America.
