EA's football manager transfers to Ubisoft

Jon Rosenblatt, formerly the football marketing manager for Electronic Arts, has been appointed marketing director for the UK subsidiary of French publisher Ubisoft.

Rosenblatt will take responsibility for managing Ubisoft's marketing, PR and online departments, as well as overseeing the work of the publisher's customer services team.

"We are delighted to welcome Jon on board," said UK managing director Rob Cooper.

"Ubisoft is continuing its pattern of strong growth and this year we will launch some of the biggest and most mass market games in our company's history."

"Jon has a wealth of experience in launching mainstream games and he will be instrumental in devising an innovative marketing strategy, which will place Ubisoft's forthcoming releases firmly on the map."

Former marketing director John Parkes transferred to Ubisoft's Paris office earlier this year, where he holds the title of EMEA marketing director.
