E3 AWARDS GLORY FOR CLIMAX'S RACING STUDIO

Brighton, UK - 8th June, 2006: A memorable E3 for Climax's Brighton-based Racing Studio was capped off in style when IGN, one of the world's most respected interactive entertainment websites, bestowed four 'Best of Show' awards on its games. The accolades, covering the Xbox 360, PS2 and PSP formats, are a major triumph for the Racing Studio and a fitting reward after its games wowed the crowds at the bustling show.

MotoGP '06, which is being published by THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI), led the way, picking up the titles for both Best Overall Racing Game and Best Xbox 360 Racing Game. Summing up its decision to heap these illustrious awards on the game, IGN commended the realistic handling, the sensational speed and, most notably, the awesome graphics: 'this game, quite simply, looks amazing. MotoGP '06 was a feast for the eyes'. A nomination for a Develop Excellence Award in the Art & Sound category reaffirms IGN's high praise and bolsters the fervent anticipation surrounding the game's June 9th release.

Not to be outshone, ATV Offroad ® Fury 4 grabbed its own award for the Best PS2 Racing Game. Due for release in the Fall, the game was praised for its real-world physics and sheer number of vehicles. In its closing statement, IGN stated: 'the game is still a few months away but it's already looking and driving very nicely. Whatever finishing touches Climax adds to the game will only be icing on the cake.'

Last but by no means least of Climax's award-winning games was ATV Offroad ® Fury Pro, which earned the accolade of Best PSP Racing Game. Again, IGN heaped lavish praise on the game's lush visuals and sophisticated gameplay. The awards panel also applauded the Racing Studio's commitment to developing an original and exciting new game, stating: 'ATV Pro is more than just the sequel to Blazin' Trails - it looks to be an entire revamp of the Offroad Fury series on the PSP.'

Celebrating the awards, Climax Racing Studio's President, Tony Beckwith, shared his delight: 'To pick up four awards from one show is a fantastic achievement and a great honour for the Racing Studio. It's a huge boost for all the teams here, and now we're hungry to keep this roll going by continuing to develop critically acclaimed and multi-million selling games.
