dtp entertainment AG: Steffen Ruehl named new Creative Director

Hamburg, Germany: Oct 31, 2006 - Steffen Ruehl has joined German publisher dtp entertainment AG as Creative Director since October 1. The 37-year old can look back on more than 8 years of experience in the games sector, joining dtp after serving as Product Manager and Scout for EA Partners in Elecronic Arts' Business Development.

An internal team of expert developers will be in charge of implementing Ruehl's concepts, focussing on the next-generation consoles as well as MMO games. Ruehl and COO Markus Windelen will set up this team together.

In addition to designing internal projects, Ruehl will also be integrated in improving the design process of externally developed products, working in concert with the dtp entertainment Producing team.

His extensive experience made him the ideal candidate for the newly created position of Creative Director", explains Markus Windelen. "His creative input will have a sustained impact on the quality of our game design and development process."
