Dr. Reiner Knizia and Impossible to re-create excellency in mobile gaming

Dr. Reiner Knizia, who is considered to be one of the best contemporary game designers and Impossible, major Czech mobile games developer, have signed a deal that will introduce some popular board titles to mobile environment.

Miklós Csémy, Product Manager of Impossible has this to say regarding the deal: "Impossible has been built around the belief that greatness of a game comes from it´s design. That said, it is of great honor to us to be able to introduce some of Dr. Knizia´s games to mobile market as his games are regarded by many as the epitome of game design."

If one would seek to find what is the trademark beyond the successful Knizia games, he would discover that the thing which makes these games so attractive is easily understood but enjoyable system that minimizes the role of luck and allows for a shift of situation to the very last moment of the game.

The first game to appear at mobile screens is "Reiner Knizia´s Samurai."

"We decided to start with this game, as it shows best where the strengths of Dr. Knizia´s design lie. The game is very easy to understand and learn but unbelievably hard to master. All can be lost or won in one turn. It´s a great fun that´s highly re-playable, at that."

The game is set in a feudal Japan where the Lords (players) are struggling to gain influence over three social groups - the Samurai, the Monks and the Farmers. The release date is yet unspecified.
