Former director of brand marketing at Sega, David Miller, joins the in-games ads firm as director of business development and marketing, while Daniel Best takes up the role of commercial director of sales after a stint at The Independent.

"The experience and skill of both Daniel and David ensures that we successfully take the Double Fusion European operation to a new level," commented Frank Sagnier, Euro MD for the company.

"Their knowledge, creativity and contacts within their respective fields enable us to credibly deliver the Double Fusion message to the senior players within the advertising and interactive entertainment markets. 2007 is going to be a memorable year for Double Fusion," he added.

The company has also appointed ex-Blizzard exec Itzik Ben Bassat to the board of directors.

Bassat was in charge of global business development at the World of Warcraft studio and is credited as the driving force behind the evolution of the team from developer to leading MMO powerhouse.
