Does This Shotgun Match My Purse??

PMS Clan, the world's largest community of girl gamers, continues their first official pro-tournament season by entering 2 female teams at the Cyber Athlete Summer Championship (http://www.thecpl.com/summer2005/) in Dallas Texas, USA.

Now counting over 300 girls globally, the PMS community has continued to grow since its humble beginnings on Xbox Live. With the addition of a large PS2 team and PC division in 2004, they continue to be the first and largest multi-platform female gaming clan.

PMS Clan (www.pmsclan.com) was born from the camaraderie of finding other girl gamers in a very male-dominated online gaming market, and has now grown in to a passionate community that is connecting gamers across the globe. Their mission is to provide a fun and positive environment to other female gamers, while maintaining competitiveness, fairness, and respect in online game play.

No strangers to the tournament circuit since their first entry at the Houston MLG event (www.mlgpro.com), the group is proud of all they have accomplished with their grass-roots organization. "PMS has accomplished so much this year for women gamers," commented Amber Dalton (known as Athena Twin PMS), one of the twin sisters who co-founded the PMS community). "The gaming community has been so supportive on our mission of providing a fun and competitive outlet for women gamers. We also definitely have to thank the media and gaming companies that have believed in us enough to highlight our organization."

The two female teams will be competing in Halo2 (Xbox), and one female PMS member will be competing on PainKiller (PC). Alongside the PMS teams will be competing two teams from the male brother clan, H20. An H20 Clan member is usually tied to one, more, or all the PMS girls in a very strong bond. They not only support the clan, but also help promote, recruit, and strengthen the ties of the members. It is also highly competitive and consists of many of the top male gamers in the world.

This year PMS Clan will be appearing at a full schedule of tournaments and gaming related events across the US and Europe http://www.pmsclan.com/tournyandevents.htm.
