Pixar artist Jeremy Vickery to speak at learning events for games developers next month in London and Liverpool.
4th September 2008, London, UK. TwelveJ, the games industry leader in bespoke learning programmes for development studios today announced Pixar Artist Jeremy Vickery as guest lecturer for its next event entitled 'Digital Lighting & Practical Colour.'
Jeremy Vickery worked at Pixar for many years on films including The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-E. Jeremy will share some of the secrets, techniques and experiences from over a decade spent in creating 3D modeling textures and lighting, film effects, matte painting and concept art.

About Jeremy Vickery
Jeremy Vickery has over 11 years experience in animation, film, video and concept design. He worked as a Lighting Artist/Technical Director for Pixar Animation Studios for many years and helped create the films The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-E. Before joining Pixar he was the Lighting Supervisor at Fathom Studios in Atlanta, Georgia and before that a Modelling/Texture Artist at Big Idea Productions in Chicago. Jeremy has also lectured on many occasions speaking recently at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco and Paris, and has produced a DVD about light and colour for the Gnomon Workshop. London based TwelveJ was formed in 2007 by Kumar Jacob to offer bespoke training programmes for game development studios. Jacob has worked for several companies at a senior management and directorate level. Prior to formed TwelveJ, Kumar held the position of Vice President – Corporate Affairs at Criterion Software with responsibility for finance, human resources and information systems.
