Bloons! developer joins TIGA.

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, today announced the Digital Goldfish as its newest member.

Established in 2005, Digital Goldfish is an independent games development studio, formed in order to create original content for mobile platforms. Based at the heart of games development in Dundee, Scotland, Digital Goldfish is a young and highly motivated company with a determination to provide only the highest quality games across iPhone, iPod Touch, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS and mobile J2ME platforms. Digital Goldfish’s latest game Bloons! reached number one in the iPhone charts.

David Hamilton, Managing Director at Digital Goldfish explains the company’s reasons for joining TIGA: “We have spent the last few years building our studio and focusing on development and now the time is right for Digital Goldfish to join TIGA. We have been inspired by TIGA's determination to represent the UK games industry and all the work that they do for us.

“We fully support the effort TIGA has put in to highlight the UK games industry to the Government along with letting the media know that we have a booming industry in Scotland and across the country.”
