Digital Chocolate expands further
New studios purchased in India and Spain
Mobile phone games publisher Digital Chocolate has announce the acquisition of two new studios, in India and Spain.
Small Device Mobile Technologies, in Bangladore, will allow Digital Chocolate to more than triple capacity in the region with the opening of another operations centre, to be headed up by Dikshant Dave.
Micojocs Studio, in Barcelona, will add multi-platform expertise, and current head Gerard Fernandez will remain in charge following the acquisition.
The expansion sits alongside significant staffing increases in the past few years in other offices, and Gary Schofield, president of networks for the company said of the acquisitions, "We are committed to aggressively pursuing these new markets."
