Develop conference line-up revealed

Braben, Eades and Smith lead the speaker list at this year's Brighton event

The list of main speakers at this summer's Develop Conference and Expo has been released, with David Braben, Andrew Eades and Jonathan Smith among the headliners.

The Frontier Developments, Relentless and Traveller's Tales execs will be joined by Tommy Francis, new IP director at Ubisoft, Bungie's Damian Isla, Naughty Dog's Richard Lemarchand and Phil Spencer from Microsoft Game Studios.

The themes for this year's event, taking place in Brighton on the UK's south coast, are Capitalise, Specialise, Inspire and Enjoy.

"This is the most exciting yet least appreciated point in the development cycle - game projects started now will be the ones to truly exploit Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo's current hardware, and so define this generation," said Owain Bennallack, Develop Conference advisory board chairman.

"We're therefore going back to basics for 2008, with a packed programme focused on perfecting the state of the art."

The Conference will take place on July 29-31.
