Zimmerman’s tour launches October 1 st 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia.  He will then travel world wide, hitting venues in the UK, Rome, Amsterdam, Australia, Russia and more.  His shows will preview tracks from his forthcoming album.

The Canadian native hit the scene in 2006 with the chart topping Faxing Berlin under the name Deadmau5 (the same as his independent web developing business.)  Since then, he risen to the top of the Dance Music scene.  Zimmerman is recognized not only for his talented hand in creating music but also for his unique image.  True to his stage name, Deadmau5, Zimmerman wears a specially commissioned LED Video Mau5head which has dazzled fans at his incredible live shows.

Unbeknownst to most, Zimmerman’s musical talent stems from his previous technological expertise.  He embraced computer technology far before its integration into music and business.  Zimmerman does not consider himself a DJ, feeling it is an outdated term for his work, “There are no CDs involved…It’s a technological orgy up there and I try and keep it more my music than anyone else’s. If people come out to see Deadmau5, I want them to hear Deadmau5 music.”  His sound is created through innovative technology and software, some he developed himself described - “… like a drum sequencer and sample player on crack.”  Zimmerman has also had a hand in developing the “Touch Mix” app for the iPhone, which gives users the ability to mix tracks on their phones.
