Dates set for Paris GDC

Connection Events and CMP, the organisers of the Paris Game Developers Conference, have announced that this year's event will take place on June 23- 24.

The second iteration of the event, following last year's GDC Lyon, is an extension of the Game Developers Conference held each year in San Francisco.

"We were delighted with the success of the first French GDC held in 2007 and are confident that Paris GDC will bring together even more talented developers from around the world, now in a more central location and the home of the biggest development studios in the country," said executive director Pierre Carde.

Paris GDC 08 is actively seeking seasoned developers and industry professionals to submit session proposals via its website by March 7. The event will feature a line-up of more than 50 bilingual sessions throughout the two day program, with tracks dedicated to Programming/Coding, Game Design, Graphical Arts, Production/Project Management and Business/Management.

Content will be programmed by an advisory board consisting of both local and international developers from companies such as Sony London, Vivendi, Ubisoft, Eidos, Rebellion and Cryek.
