Cyber Square Alliance Expands Into Canada
Toronto-based Nekstlevel Gaming Joins Premium Circuit of e-Sport Venues
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY - August 21, 2006 -- web2zone's Cyber Square Alliance (CSA), the leading venue-based circuit for hosting e-Sport video game tournaments and events, announced today that Nekstlevel Gaming Network of Toronto has become its first Canadian partner for hosting official CSA activities. Additional venues throughout North America are expected to be announced this year.
CSA event sponsors, including Samsung America, Intel Corporation, PNY Technologies and SteelSeries, support the video game tournament circuit by providing financial support and standardized hardware for their tournament PC systems. Each CSA center features sponsors' high performance gaming components and peripheral gear.
Started in 2005, the Cyber Square Alliance was the first venue-based circuit of game center venues to successfully host competitive e-Sport video game tournaments and events in the United States. Over $160,000 in cash and prizes were awarded in the inaugural year, with over 2,250 people competed in live, face-to-face events.
"We are thrilled to have Rob Kasslack and Nekstlevel as a member of the CSA network", says Ed Tomasi, Director of Marketing for the CSA program. "Nekstlevel was selected based on their management quality, tournament reputation and overall facility capabilities. As soon as CSA launched over a year ago, many Canadian gamers immediately recommended Nekstlevel, and we are looking forward to providing them with a quality venue to compete at."
"I am very excited". says Rob Kasslack, owner and operator of Nekstlevel Gaming Network "Nekstlevel was designed as an exclusive LAN gaming center for professional gamers in the Greater Toronto Area; CSA is a perfect fit. Can't wait to frag!"
