UK and European specialist retailer GAME has announced its financial results for the full year ended January 31st, revealing a massive drop in profits, despite a positive boost in turnover towards the end of 2005.

Leading European retailer GAME Group Plc has announced its interim results for the six months to July 31st, revealing that the group's like for like turnover dropped by over 5 per cent as retail sales hit a speed bump.

UK chain store, GAME, has clarified that while it is still taking pre-orders of Microsoft's forthcoming next generation machine, Xbox 360, there is currently no word on how many units the group or country will be getting.
