Codemasters Online expands customer services

Publisher's in-game support for online titles moved in-house; 30 jobs created

Codemasters Online has announced that it is to expand its existing internal customer services facility with an additional 30 posts as all functions are brought in-house.

The move will enable the company to directly manage customer care, it said in a statement, while all aspects of that arm of the company are being "completely reviewed".

"I am very pleased to announce this next step in Codemasters Online's growth," said David Solari, VP and GM for the company. "Bringing the online game support in-house has been something we have been working on for some time and we are all very excited at this landmark event. We have always had good in-game support and now have the opportunity to take it even further."

Codemasters Online currently runs the Lord of the Rings and Archlord MMOs, while it is set to launch the NetDevil-developed Jumpgate Evolution in due course.
