Codemasters confirms Director of Marketing appointment.

10am, 8 JULY: Codemasters, the leading developer and publisher of critically acclaimed video games, today announced the promotion of senior marketer Nicky Hewitt (nee Veal)to the position of Director of Marketing. In her new position, Nicky will lead the global marketing activities for Codemasters' portfolio of console and PC titles.

Previously Group Brand Manager, Nicky has been with Codemasters over six years and has led the brand marketing on some of the company's best-selling game franchises including Colin McRae Rally, TOCA Race Driver, LMA Manager and Brian Lara International Cricket.

"It's a hugely exciting period for Codemasters," says Nicky, "We have original IP to introduce, new licensed properties being acquired and exciting extensions to our most popular brands - including the much anticipated return of Brian Lara International Cricket this July. It's a great opportunity to lead the company's marketing operations with a great team in place to bring titles to market"

Nicky reports to Barry Jaffrato, Codemasters' Senior Vice President, Brand, who commented:

"Nicky has enormous experience here at Codemasters and enjoyed great success in her previous roles. To have her as Director of Marketing is a very valuable asset to the senior management as the company continues its

growth strategy."

Nicky is supported with a team in Codemasters' global marketing group, including Marketing Managers Sarah Brockhurst, Emma Morgan and Alan Perrie. Nicky will also work with Codemasters' territory marketing managers across its European and US publishing offices.
