RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK REGION, N.C. (September 21, 2006) - ClearImage, a full-service marketing, public relations, and business development firm for the entertainment software industry, today announced that it has hired Dana Cowley to direct the firm's interactive entertainment activities.

Cowley will drive marketing, public relations and business development strategies for the firm's North American clients, which include Emergent Game Technologies and 3Dsolve. Emergent Game Technologies is the creator of the Gamebryo Element, a 3D engine that powers hit games including The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Sid Meier's Civilization IV. 3Dsolve is a leading simulation and entertainment software company whose founders helped launch Tom Clancy's Red Storm Entertainment.

Cowley holds a degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining ClearImage, Cowley served as marketing and communications manager for Chapel Hill-based Octagon Entertainment, a global developer and publisher of computer and video games, where she managed corporate communications, sales support marketing, and North American retail publishing.

Cowley is the co-founder of the Triangle Chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), a nonprofit professional society with over 70 chapters worldwide.
