Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby

"Gorgeous-looking" game of classic novel comes to PC.

NEW YORK, LONDON - July 15, 2010 - I-play, Oberon Media's publishing division and the world's leading multi-platform casual games publisher, today announced Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby is now available for PC download. The first installment in the Classic Adventures series, which will turn classic works of literature into accessible, fun and interactive games, gives players a Gatsby experience like never before.

The Jazz Age is in full swing in Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby as players are immersed in the Roaring 20's and all the decadence and opulence of that pivotal decade. Delivering an all-new twist to the wildly popular Hidden Object Game genre, players will search through moving landscapes, recreate F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous prose and assemble a personal library through various mini-games and puzzles.

"The Classic Adventures series is going to deliver these incredibly important works of literature in an engaging way, while staying true to the characters and stories that make these works truly classic." said Tony Leamer, VP Marketing at I-play. "The Great Gatsby is a perfect way to launch the series, because it is undeniably iconic, and provides a stunning background and setting for a gorgeous-looking game."

Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby received a 5 out of 5 star rating from Gamezebo stating, "The Great Gatsby turns the rapidly growing stale HOG format square on its head, creating something that's familiar yet also brand new."

In addition to the brand-new Classic Adventures series, I-play also publishes games based on Nora Roberts' Bride Quartet book series, James Patterson's highly-successful Women's Murder Club book series and Agatha Christie's classic mysteries. These releases have generated more than 60 million downloads and have underscored I-play's commitment to provide high-quality game franchises across multiple platforms.
