Former Official Nintendo Mag man now your PR contact at System 3.
London-based videogame publisher System 3 today announced the addition of ex-Official Nintendo Magazine editor Chandra Nair to its Mayfair team.
With immediate effect Chandra will take on the role of Brand Manager with a view to taking the publisher's critically acclaimed Ferrari race engine and growing it into a market-leading franchise.
"With 13 years of experience across retail, publishing and marketing, not to mention being an avid racing and videogames fan, Chandra is the perfect person to grow System 3's current brands into global heavyweights", said System 3 CEO Mark Cale.
Chandra is equally excited: "The gaming geek in me is really excited about working for a company with such a glowing videogame heritage. And as a massive racing fan I'm giddy about the potential the Ferrari Challenge race engine holds. Starting out as a videogame shop assistant at the tender age of 15 Chandra slowly trawled his way through the videogames industry. Over the past 13 years he's managed an independent videogames store, written guides for Paragon Publishing's PowerStation, launched Paragon's CUBE magazine with Simon Phillips and Martin Mathers, launched Future's Official Nintendo Magazine with Steve Jarratt and Lee Nutter, and overseen the massive success story that is Future's multi-branching Official Nintendo range.
Chandra is also a life-long racing fan and an obsessive F1 and GP2 racing nut. . . and a good job it is too!
