The Championship Gaming Series has decided upon London and Birmingham as the official UK cities that will host teams for its upcoming competitions.

The two teams, who will be headed up by Sujoy Roy and Michael O'Dell respectively, will now concentrate on recruiting players to compete in the CGS UK and European finals, and then the World Championships in December.

Two additional teams will be based in Berlin and Stockholm.

The official team drafts will take place on September 23, with the European final happening a day later at the newly-launched Omega Sektor in Birmingham.

The UK final will take place from September 26 — 28 at the Three Mills Studio in East London, and the events will be screened on Sky TV.
