Cerebral Vortex new office

Casual developer moves out of "virtual office" and into premises at Thorold, Ontario.

September 3, 2009: Cerebral Vortex Games, Inc., a developer of casual videogames formerly based in St. Catharines, is pleased to announce that it is consolidating operations at a brand new office in Thorold, Ontario.

"Our new Thorold office is already in full operation," said Keith Makse, President of Cerebral Vortex Games. "We're developing great casual games for PC, iPhone and other platforms."

Games developed at the Thorold office will include the musical memory game Sonus, and the augmented reality game Ghost Breaker. Both titles are being made for the iPhone. The company is also developing the Match 3 meets forensic detectives game Trace Evidence: The Hunt for the Black Orchid.

"We'll be making them available to gamers very soon," said Makse. "Look for more announcements in the coming weeks."

The new Thorold office is made possible through a partnership with Venture Niagara, which will be providing support and funding to Cerebral Vortex Games., Inc.

Titles developed by CVG include the hidden object game Mysterious Worlds: The Secret of Oak Island and the action/puzzle game Word Burst. The company recently announced the development of its first iPhone games, Ghost Breaker, Split Words and Sonus.
