BXB LAN 2005

6th June, Leicester, UK - Top Community Site Britxbox.co.uk announces today that it will be holding its next unique Xbox LAN event on October 1st, 2005.

BXB LAN 2005 will be the only LAN event held this year and will be taking place at Loughborough University, Loughborough, Leicestershire on Saturday October 1st.

The doors will open at 10am and competitions will begin at 1pm. More details of the day will be released over the next few weeks but visitors can expect all the usual antics including all day game playing, tournaments and competitions. Tickets will be on sale shortly priced at £14 each, however, booking tickets online and bringing a television will get you discount entry.

BXB LAN 2005 is a unique event aimed at adults and are not suitable for people under the age of 18. There will be a newly refurbished snack shop and bar available for guests to the LAN events to take a break from the gaming action.

Michael Rossell, Editor and LAN Manager for Britxbox.co.uk said: "We've decided to only do one LAN event this year which will allow us to focus the number of visitors to each event and offer more to each person who comes along.

"We've secured more support from Microsoft and Xbox UK for this event and we're very excited about what this new relationship will bring to our LAN events.

"You can expect all the usual shenanigans including tons of prizes for the our Tournament winners plus the facilities at Loughborough University have been refurbished.
